Gail Kim has reached her breaking point after backlash over her comments about Riho, which sparked rumors that she was allegedly begging AEW for a job.
On a new episode of the Huge POP podcast, Kim shut down those rumors and directly accused a well-known wrestling journalist of lying about her. Kim started by explaining that she had heard a lot about Dave Meltzer over the years but never judged him without meeting him. What frustrated her the most was his star ratings system and the weight it carried with wrestlers.
Kim then revealed that her view of Meltzer solidified after she says he blatantly lied about her, especially regarding the claim that she reached out to AEW begging for work.
While Kim confirmed that Sonjay Dutt once reached out to her after she was fired from TNA, nothing came from it and she insists she has never gone to AEW asking for a job.
