After securing a victory alongside Brodido in the October 1 main event of AEW Dynamite, Omega was blindsided by a post-match ambush from none other than Andrade El Idolo, who just made his return to AEW following his WWE exit.
The six-year anniversary episode of Dynamite featured Omega and Brodido taking on The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander. While Omega got the pin for his team, things unraveled quickly once the match ended. Alexander launched a sneak attack, prompting Jurassic Express to return and even the odds against The Bucks. Omega, meanwhile, had his hands full dealing with Alexander.
But just when it seemed like the dust was settling, Andrade struck. The returning star attacked Omega during his post-match address to the fans, sending a clear message that hes backand gunning for the top. Andrades alignment with the Don Callis Family adds even more fuel to what could become AEWs next major war.
Omega later took to Twitter to address the non-stop chaos, posting a short and sarcastic message. He simply wrote, All these postmatch beatdowns alongside a GIF of 50 Cent reflecting on a regrettable moment, making it clear hes over the constant blindside assaults.
With Andrade now officially back and Omega firmly in his crosshairs, AEW might be heading straight into another high-stakes rivalry.
