Beth Phoenix shocked the wrestling world last month when she appeared at AEW All Out, joining her husband Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in their match against FTR. The three-time WWE Womens Champion helped Copeland and Cage secure the win in Toronto, marking her first-ever AEW appearance.
After the match, AEW President Tony Khan spoke with The Sportster to give his take on The Glamazon stepping into an AEW storyline. While he praised Beths involvement, Khan stopped short of confirming if fans would see her on-screen again anytime soon.
Khan added that having Beth there was just as special for him as it was for the Copeland family.
But the celebration didnt last long. Despite Copeland and Cages victory, FTRs Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood viciously attacked Beth while her husband was handcuffed to the ropes after the match. On the following Wednesdays AEW Dynamite, Copeland announced he would be stepping away from the ring temporarily to take care of his family after the incident.
Beth Phoenixs AEW debut has left fans wondering if this was a one-time moment or the beginning of something bigger for The Glamazon.
