TNA Wrestling may have been eyeing a full year of weekly live broadcasts, but the latest update confirms those plans are no longer in play for the rest of 2025.

Back in a recent interview, Anthem Sports Group President Carlos Silva made headlines when he revealed that TNA was negotiating a media rights deal that could allow Impact! to go live 52 weeks a year. At the time, Silva said:

But those dreams appear to be paused at least for now. On October 1, TNA Wrestling took to Twitter to announce its final slate of events for the 2025 season, confirming two major weekend taping blocks not weekly live shows. The tweet included graphics showing back-to-back-to-back shows in Orlando, Florida (Nov. 1315) and El Paso, Texas (Dec. 57). That format suggests the company will continue with its current model of airing one show live on Thursdays and taping future episodes during the weekend. Additionally, TNA followed up with a statement on its website:

Tickets for both weekends go on sale Friday, October 17, with a pre-sale starting October 15 at 10am ET.

The company also announced that the El Paso shows will serve as the first-ever Fan Appreciation Weekend, adding a new wrinkle to the end-of-year festivities.

Despite talks of a $10 million annual rights deal and support from WWE in cross-promotion, it looks like TNA fans will have to wait longer for weekly live content to become a reality.
