Torrie Wilson is looking back at one of the most infamous storylines of her WWE career and shes finally telling the full story of what it was like behind the scenes with Dawn Marie and her reallife father, Al Wilson.
During an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Torrie revealed that the entire storyline was pitched directly by Paul Heyman and that she initially had the choice to bring in an actor. Instead, she made the decision to use her real father because she thought it would be a onceinalifetime experience for him.
She reflected on that decision years later with a mix of gratitude and embarrassment over some of the awkward moments it created.
One of those awkward moments came when her father approached Vince McMahon for a ride.
Torrie also talked about the infamous hotel segment with Dawn Marie, where the two shared a kiss. She admitted she was far from comfortable filming that scene.
Today, Torrie says shes able to laugh at those moments even though she once wanted to avoid them entirely when they resurfaced online.
