Cody Rhodes is definitely one of the biggest names in WWE and his mind for the business is second to none. There will come a time when Triple H will eventually retire from WWE and now Rhodes has addressed potentially running WWE after Triple H.
While speaking to ESPN, Cody Rhodes was asked if he wants to lead WWE in ten years, once Triple H eventually steps away. He admitted there already seems to be some competition for that role, something he didnt notice at first. Initially, he thought he might be the obvious choice, given his experience and interest in running the company but he isnt sure hes the best candidate.
The American Nightmare said CM Punk is very good at helping younger wrestlers grow and might be the best at it. He added that Seth Rollins might seem a bit tough but would probably be a great boss too.
Rhodes would like to be considered for a leadership role someday but isnt ready to fully commit yet. He also said people like Bayley and Roman Reigns will always have a voice in the company.
With many WWE wrestlers getting older, he thinks strong leaders will be needed, because running wrestling is more than just booking matches and is a hard job. He praised Triple H for how well he is running WWE now and said hes glad Triple H will stay in charge for a while.
For now, Rhodes is focused on wrestling and learning, while Triple H continues to lead WWEs stories and business. So well have to wait and see if he will end up running WWE in 10 years after the Game retires.
