The September 16th Homecoming edition of WWE NXT celebrated the history of NXT by bringing back some familiar faces. This included Bobby Roode, who had a segment on the show. However, fans have now called out WWE for a massive production botch during Roodes segment.
During a segment with Charlie Dempsey and Wren Sinclair, Bobby Roode made his return. However, there was literally no crowd noise during the segment and to make matters worse, Roode even turned his head around to acknowledge what he assumed was going to be a big pop.
Fans took to Twitter and immediately called out WWE for the massive production botch as one was shocked at how Bobby Roode was used during the show, saying, @hilda_adaora this is how they used Bobby Roode???? Really.
Another fan took to Twitter and questioned why WWE muted the crowd, saying, Why did they mute the crowd? Yet another fan called out WWE for the production botch by muting the audience, saying, I did want to hear that pop yall just had to mute the audience.
A different fan mocked WWE by telling them they forgot to turn on the crowd sound, saying, You forgot to turn crowd sound on Another fan pointed out how WWE definitely muted the fans since Joe Hendry also got crickets as well, saying, they def muted it bc Hendry got crickets too, but why would they do that and still give the silence to wait for the pop
Do you believe WWE intentionally muted the crowd during Bobby Roodes segment, or was it just an unfortunate technical glitch? Should WWE address the issue on-air or move on? Sound off in the comments.
