Viktor Hovland is not happy with his third round of golf as he is three shots behind the leader heading into the final round. However, the Norwegian golfer has the right to be satisfied because he has shown during this season that he has the quality needed to perform at the Ryder Cup.
Speaking to the media after the third round, he reflected on his performance at the BMW PGA Championship. He was particularly pleased with the good start.
However, he admits that during the last nine holes he mostly suffered a fall, and that he was disappointed in many situations.
Nevertheless, such moments can serve as a lesson and an opportunity to improve things in the coming period.
Viktor Hovland is optimistic
No matter how many difficulties and trials he has encountered, the young golfer wants to remain optimistic, aware that the world of golf is such that one moment you can be at the top, while the next you can experience a serious crisis.
All of these represent important experiences for him, with the belief that he can make a big step in the final round, but also at this year's Ryder Cup.
