Fans remember the feud between Brock Lesnar and Jon Moxley, which culminated in a very disappointing match at WrestleMania 32. Unsurprisingly, Paul Heyman brutally buried Moxley for his role in the feud.
While speaking on Inside the Ropes, Paul Heyman went scorched earth on Jon Moxley for how he handled his feud with Brock Lesnar. He said Moxleys weak showing on the Stone Cold podcast carried over to their WrestleMania match and likely upset both Steve Austin and fans.
Heyman warned that taking liberties with Lesnar never ends well, citing Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, and even The Undertaker as examples. He suggested that anyone who tries it ends up getting tossed around and dominated, while Lesnar couldnt care less.
Heyman added that if Steve Austin could have come out of retirement that night, he might have slapped Moxley for acting bored on the podcast.
Nearly ten years later, the WrestleMania 32 match between Brock Lesnar and Jon Moxley is still one of Lesnars most criticized matches for good reason. Regardless, Heyman will always be honest with his opinion and its clear he blamed Moxley for how the match turned out.
