WWE will be making its return to Japan later this year as part of a highly anticipated overseas tour. The company had been teasing a big name for the tour and now fans finally know whos going to be joining several talent in Japan.

WWE Japan took to its Twitter account and confirmed that CM Punk will be joining WWEs upcoming Japan tour on October 17th and 18th in Tokyo.

The return will happen in October with two back-to-back live shows at Tokyos famous Sumo Hall. Called WWE SuperShow Japan, the events are set for Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18. These will be WWEs first shows in Japan since July 2024.

As for CM Punk, this will be the first time hell have competed in Japan since 2011, where he defended the WWE Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio on both Yokohama shows.

CM Punks confirmed appearance makes WWEs Japan return even bigger. His last match in Japan was in 2011, so this return feels like a full-circle moment for one of wrestlings biggest stars and gives Japanese fans a rare chance to see him live.
