The draw for the WTA 500 tournament in Seoul has been released and Iga Swiatek has learned her projected path to the title.

The Polish tennis star, who is the top-seeded player, has a first-round bye at the tournament and will kick off her campaign by taking on either Sorana Cirstea or Zhu Lin in the round-of-16. The world No. 2 is projected to meet Emma Raducanu in a quarterfinal showdown, while No. 3 seed Clara Tauson is her projected semifinal rival.

The projected Seoul final sees Swiatek taking on No. 2 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova. No. 4 seed Daria Kasatkina and fifth-seeded Diana Shnaider are also two names to watch out for in the bottom part of the draw.

Swiatek refused to take a break after the US Open

After losing in straight sets to Amanda Anisimova in the US Open quarterfinal, Swiatek was told by a reporter that she looked like she "needed a mental break." The six-time Grand Slam champion wasn't impressed with that one a bit, bluntly firing back: "Well, talk to the people responsible for the schedule... You look like you need a mental break."

"I do, yeah," the reporter responded, to which Swiatek responded: "Well, then what are you doing here?"

Despite a US Open disappointment, Swiatek enters Seoul as the heavy favorite to win the main prize.
