Former WWE star Odyssey Jonesreal name Omari Palmerisnt letting his legal battle with ex-girlfriend Meileth Nunez fade quietly.
In court documents obtained by Ringside News, Palmer has officially subpoenaed WWE for a trove of internal documents as part of his ongoing defamation lawsuit against Nunez.
The subpoena, filed on August 5, 2025, demands WWE/TKO turn over everything from Palmers employment and termination records to internal communications about the allegations Nunez made in 2024. According to court records, Palmer is seeking documents from WWE regarding:
- His employment and firing
- Any internal investigations between May and July 2024
- WWEs communication with the media about the situation
- Correspondence that directly mentions Meileth Nunez
The deadline for WWE to comply was set for September 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM. That same day, Palmer also submitted a mandatory disclosure detailing the evidence he already has in his possessionmost of which appears to match what he requested from WWE. This strongly suggests that the company handed over the documents. In the disclosure, Palmer listed:
- His WWE contract, termination letter, and performance reviews
- Texts and emails with Nunez, social media posts, and voicemails
- Screenshots of Nunezs alleged defamatory statements
- WWE investigation documents including his own responses
- Evidence of damages including lost income, job rejections, and emotional distress
These filings are the latest twist in a saga that began in mid-2024, when Nunez accused Palmer of physical assault following an argument about text messages. She claimed he slammed her to the ground and threw objects at her. Palmer denied all accusations and later obtained a protective order against Nunez, which has been extended through early 2028.
Palmer publicly addressed the situation in January 2025, stating that he waited to speak until legal protections were in place.
He also acknowledged WWEs role in his career, despite the fallout.
The lawsuit, filed in January 2025, alleges Nunezs statements directly led to Palmers WWE release in September 2024 and seeks over $100,000 in damages for slander.
This update, showing WWEs likely cooperation and Palmers extensive documentation, could significantly shift the momentum in this lawsuit.
