Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us, with the Washington Commanders visiting the Green Bay Packers on Thursday to get the action started.
Sunday will feature several divisional games, but the highlight of the day is a Super Bowl rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
The week will wrap up with two "Monday Night Football" games, with the Houston Texans hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN) and the Los Angeles Chargers visiting the Las Vegas Raiders (10 p.m. ET on ESPN).
Our team takes an look at the early Week 2 odds and identifies which ones are worth jumping on now before any potential shifts later in the week.

My First Bet
Green Bay Packers to cover -3.5 (-110) vs. Commanders
Ben Solak: I faded the Commanders in Week 1 to no avail, but that was far from a stellar offensive performance from Washington. Rookie right tackle Josh Conerly Jr. struggled and now stares down the barrel of Micah Parsons, who looked healthy in limited action Week 1. Jordan Love and the Packers offense, meanwhile, looked sensational in the first half before coasting through the second half. On a quick turnaround, the Packers get to stay at home and could get starting cornerback Nate Hobbs back for this game. Either way, Green Bay looks like a threshing machine early.
Cincinnati Bengals to cover -3.5 (Even) vs. Jaguars
Matt Bowen: Quarterback Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense lacked a sense of rhythm and overall efficiency in the 17-16 win over Cleveland in Week 1. Burrow totaled just 113 yards passing, while Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins combined for 59 yards on five receptions. But I'll take the Week 2 matchup versus the Jacksonville defense, especially on the perimeter in the pass game. Burrow and the Bengals will have answers to target both split-safety and single-high zone schemes on Sunday. Bet Cincy here.
Seattle Seahawks at Pittsburgh Steelers to go UNDER 40.5 total points (-115)
Joe Fortenbaugh: I've got Seattle as a dead-shot under team until further notice. Did you see that offensive performance at home against the Niners on Sunday? Two hundred thirty total yards and just 4.6 yards per play with new wide receiver Cooper Kupp registering only 15 yards on two receptions. The defense, however, has some pop. And that will be the key against an overvalued Steelers offense that generated just 271 total yards of offense against the Jets in Week 1.
Jaguars at Bengals to go OVER OVER 49.5 total points (-110)
Eric Moody: The Bengals narrowly beat the Browns in Week 1, accumulating just 141 total yards, the fewest in Zac Taylor's tenure. Cincinnati's offensive line is still a work in progress, but with Burrow and one of the league's top wide receiver duos, this team has offensive playmakers. The Jaguars scored 26 points at home against the Panthers but left points on the field. Both teams will look to improve, and with the Bengals at home, I expect a high-scoring game. At 49.5, this is a bet I'm grabbing now.
Parlay: (+274) : Seahawks +2.5 and Buffalo Bills -6.5
Seth Walder: I'm not usually one for parlays, but Week 2 offers the possibility of a fun little correlation gambit. The bet here is, essentially, that the Steelers aren't as good as we think they are -- Aaron Rodgers is going to have to do more than finish 14th in QBR in a week to earn that trust. Say that proves true and the Seahawks beat the the Steelers by double digits -- that would immediately make the Jets' Week 1 performance less impressive, making a Bills cover more likely.
Teams to use in 6-point teasers: Los Angeles Rams -6.5, Arizona Cardinals -6.5, New England Patriots +1.5
Tyler Fulghum: There are a handful of games sitting on good 6-point teaser numbers early in the week: Rams -6.5, Cardinals -6.5 and Patriots +1.5 are three of my favorites. LA is on the road at Tennessee, and although the Titans showed well against the Broncos in Week 1, it'll be another difficult test for Cam Ward against the Rams front. Matthew Stafford looked very healthy, completing a combined 14 passes to Puka Nacua and Davante Adams for 181 yards. The Cardinals are at home against the Panthers. Bryce Young's week 1 performance was a complete and utter YIKES. Speaking of YIKES, the Dolphins looked like the most dysfunctional team in the league in their embarrassing loss to the Colts. New England has traditionally had trouble traveling down to South Florida in the hot and humid early weeks of the year, but I think this Dolphins defense could be all-time terrible this year. I think Vrabel and Co. bounce back after the week 1 home loss to a Raiders team that's probably better than we expected.
