Carlos Alcaraz cheekily hinted that he is preparing to do something with his hair if he wins this year's US Open.
Since the start of the tournament, Alcaraz has been making the headlines for his strong play at the final Grand Slam of the year. But before the US Open started, the second-ranked ATP player was in the headlines for cutting his long hair and debuting a shot haircut popularly called "buzzcut." The reactions to the Spanish tennis star's new haircut were quite something and even drew reactions from fellow players.
Alcaraz may have made a drastic change to his hair but nothing changed in his on-court play. And after the five-time Grand Slam champion beat Novak Djokovic to set up a US Open final meeting against Jannik Sinner, he was asked what he would do with his haircut should he win the title.

"Even better. Even better. You will see. You will see. Surprise. Surprise," the 22-year-old said.
What led to Alcaraz's buzzcut?
What's funny is that Alcaraz didn't intend to have a buzzcut. But his brother made a mishap and cutting his hair short was the only option. However, he didn't have any hard feelings or annoyance toward the reactions to his new haircut.
"Quite different I guess. I felt like my hair was really long already. And before the tournament I said that I really want to get a haircut. Suddenly my brother just misunderstood with the machine. He just cut it and the only way to fix it is just to shave it off," the Spaniard explained at the start of the tournament.
Some people like it, some people dont like it. To be honest, Im just laughing about the reaction of the people. It is what it is. I cant do anything else right now, so Im just laughing about everything they are saying about my haircut.
