Next weeks NXT is going to be huge.
WWE NXTs September 2 episode was quite a show. Next weeks show is always shaping up to be a big episode on September 9.
Ava gathered members of the NXT Womens locker room together this week and said that she wants to see a team from the brand get a WWE Womens Tag Team Title shot.
The NXT GM then said that there will be a triple threat tag team elimination match next week. The winners of that match will then go on to get a shot at the Womens Tag Team Titles, which are currently held by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
The women in that match will be Fatal Influence, Sol Ruca and Zaria, and Tatum Paxley and Izzy Dame. That should be quite a match, and the winner will get a shot at what could be a career defining match.
NXTs Lainey Reid and AAAs Faby Apache will go head-to-head next week on the show. They will wrestle as part of the WWE Speed tournament. JeVon Evans also wants a piece of Josh Briggs after Briggs beat him down this week. Ava agreed that he can have that match if he kept away from him for the rest of the show.
Trick Williams also promised to answer back to #DIY next week. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano showed up during this weeks show, and that was a big surprise.
Ethan Page and Tavion Hughes had another confrontation backstage. In the end, Ava booked a flag match for next week. That could be a very interesting encounter. Only time will tell what WWE adds to NXT before next week, but they have a lot of reasons for fans to watch.
