Ric Flair isnt sweating being left out of WWE 2K25 and its got everything to do with the money.

In a new interview with Escapist Magazine, the Hall of Famer said theres little cash to be made from the game unless youre front and center on the cover. When asked if he was surprised not to be included, Flair explained that he already knew he wouldnt be part of the roster because of his AEW contract. But then he got blunt about the financial side of things.

Flair signed a two-year deal with AEW in November 2023, limiting his ability to work with WWE projects. His last appearance came at AEW Revolution 2024, when he managed Sting during his retirement match. The same contract also kept Flair away from WrestleMania 41.

While fans might miss controlling The Nature Boy in WWE 2K25, Flair made it clear the paycheck wouldnt have been worth it anyway.
