Naomi Osaka was asked about Carlos Alcaraz's new haircut and the Japanese tennis star pretty much said that it's not anybody's business before suggesting that the 22-year-old should keep experimenting with his hair.
After Alcaraz was spotted with very short hair - specifically the type of haircut called the buzz cut - the tennis community was sent into a frenzy. Usually, the Spanish tennis star rocks longer hair - so from that point of view, it is understandable why some were surprised by the radical change. But some of the reactions were quite strong - with the most notable one coming from Frances Tiafoe, who slammed the five-time Grand Slam champion's new haircut as "terrible."

Emma Raducanu, who played mixed doubles with Carlos Alcaraz, defended her doubles partner by saying that he wore if confidently and that she didn't see any issues there.
After Raducanu, Osaka was also one of the players asked about the Spaniard's buzz cut.
Osaka: Will Alcaraz's life change if I like it or not? I like people that do different things
I saw him with hair. And then suddenly, yesterday, I saw him practicing without hair. Did he ever explain if it was a random thing? Will his life change if I like it or not?," the Japanese bluntly asked, before adding: "I like people that do different things. I find things interesting if someone doesnt do something expected. Yeah, I guess I like it. He is switching up. Maybe next time he should dye it platinum or something.

Meanwhile, Alcaraz said that his new haircut was a result of a misunderstanding.
My brother misunderstood with the machine. He cut it, and the only way to fix it is to shave it off. Its not that bad, I guess," the Spaniard explained.
One thing is for sure - if Alcaraz wins his second US Open title this year, he won't be bothered by what anybody says about his haircut.
