AJ Mana is not staying silent anymore. After being vilified in the aftermath of the brutal beatdown of Syko Stu at the August 23 KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event, Mana is now flipping the script and preparing for legal war.
On the latest episode of the F Yall Podcast, Mana said hes ready to counter-sue and claims to have the original, uncut footage that proves his side of the story. The former wrestler, who was caught on Raja Jacksons Kick livestream telling him to give Stu a receipt, has already lost his day job and been ousted from KnokX Pro. But now, hes claiming the viral clips circulating online are intentionally misleading.
Mana addressed the issue during an intense segment of the podcast, saying that the public had been manipulated by edited clips and partial truths.
This fiery quote followed his earlier rant blaming the promoter for turning a real-life backstage misunderstanding into a dangerous in-ring angle. According to Mana, the promoter encouraged them to incorporate the footage into the show to create buzz a decision that spiraled into real violence and national backlash.
Mana claims he never intended for Raja Jackson to unleash the level of punishment he did. Instead, he insists he told Jackson to give a basic receipt a traditional industry term for a receipt shot to settle a miscue. He even punched himself on camera to demonstrate what he meant. In previous clips from the podcast, he made his frustration crystal clear.
Mana says the promoter sent him off with Jackson to work out how to make the beatdown part of the show after the cameras had already caught some of the chaos.
Now, as LAPD continues to investigate and WWE distances itself from KnokX Pro by removing the school from its ID program, Mana is making it known that he wont take the fall alone.
This latest claim that hes in possession of all the uncut footage signals that AJ Mana isnt just trying to salvage his name, hes ready to take others down with him if necessary.
