AJ Mana is finally naming names in the brutal Syko Stu assault scandaland hes now blaming the promoter behind the August 23 KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event for how the whole thing spiraled out of control.
Mana, who was caught on a Kick livestream telling Raja Jackson to give Stu a receipt moments before the real-life attack unfolded in-ring, has already lost both his wrestling gig and his day job over the incident. But in a newly released clip from the F Yall Podcast, Mana is shifting some of the heat away from himself and putting it on the man running the show that night.
According to Mana, it was the promoter who pushed to incorporate the chaotic real-life brawl into the storyline once the cameras were already rolling.
Mana says the promoter saw the footage and made a snap call to roll it into the actual match booking.
Mana claims the promoter instructed him to help figure out a way to make it work.
He then demonstrated what he meant by punching himself in the face during the podcast.
He also made it clear he was not the one who planned or endorsed the full-scale beatdown.
The fallout has been severe. Mana says he was fired after TMZ footage of the incident circulated and that hes done with wrestling for now. KnokX Pro has reportedly been removed from WWEs ID program, and the LAPD is still investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Syko Stu remains hospitalized, recovering from serious head injuries.
This latest update throws a whole new twist into the situationone that could further complicate any legal or civil fallout still to come.
