Cody Rhodes has been away from WWE television for the past couple of weeks after Drew McIntyre took him out. With Clash in Paris taking place this week, his current status has been revealed.
According to Dailymail UK, The American Nightmare is currently in Sydney, Australia, as he has started filming for his role as Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter live action movie. Cody Rhodes could be seen heading towards the set while wearing his classic American Nightmare hoodie and underneath, he was wearing his costume for his character.
While filming was actually supposed to begin in September, it seems apparent that theyve started ahead of schedule. It is to be noted that Cody Rhodes wont be away for too long, but theres no guarantee he will make it in time for the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event on August 31st.
In the meantime, Drew McIntyre has been constantly calling Cody Rhodes on WWE television after he took out the American Nightmare on Friday Night SmackDown earlier this month.
Cody Rhodes getting the role of Guile in a movie shows that hes become a big star, not just in wrestling but in Hollywood as well. But with Clash in Paris coming soon, fans are wondering if hell be back in time for the event, since theres no guarantee of that happening right now.
Do you think theres any chance of Cody Rhodes appearing at Clash in Paris this week despite him currently filming Street Fighter? Sound off in the comments.
