AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door is just hours away, and now fans are getting their first real look at the massive steel cage being built for tonights Lights Out main event.
Photos from inside The O2 Arena in London show the gigantic cage structure being assembled around the ring. The setup features reinforced steel panels with a heavy truss frame across the top, giving the match a brutal stage worthy of the chaos thats expected once the doors lock shut.
The main event will see a dream team of AEW and NJPWs bestWill Ospreay, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Darby Allin, and Hiroshi Tanahashistep inside the cage against the dangerous alliance of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd. With no rules and no disqualifications, the unsanctioned Lights Out stipulation ensures absolute destruction.
The visual of the cage alone has already sparked reactions online, with fans pointing out how massive and unforgiving the setup looks. For many, its the perfect stage for the rivalry that has been building for months.
