While building a tennis legacy, Jannik Sinner is also shaping ideas for life after the sport. Known for his focus and discipline on the court, the 24-year-old has often admitted that speed fascinates him just as much as tennis.
Looking ahead and discussing his post-tennis life, Jannik sees himself one day competing in a racing series, with GT3 emerging as the most realistic destination.
Sinner's passion for cars and racing is hardly a secret. The four-time Major champion owns a Ferrari 812 Competizione, a symbol of Italian excellence and engineering.
Jannik has enjoyed laps around the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi alongside Charles Leclerc, his favorite F1 driver. The Italian also shared a relaxed lunch in Monte Carlo with the Mercedes star, George Russell.
While asked how he would spend his day off at this year's Wimbledon, Sinner admitted he would enjoy the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Beyond watching top-tier racing, Sinner also enjoys karting, often testing his skills against young Italian talents.

However, Jannik's primary focus remains tennis, with many more seasons at the top ahead of him. Yet the way he invests himself in new challenges suggests that when he calls it a career, the transition to racing will be more than a hobby.
The Italian's thrill of competition might one day move from packed arenas to roaring engines and fast corners. After all, he knows them well from his skiing days! Sinner will kick off his US Open title defense on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old is the top seed in New York, seeking his fifth Major title and the fourth in a row on hard courts.
"I'm someone who always looks to the future and who invests in things during my work or private life. A while ago, I talked with my team about what I could do once my career is over.

I see myself potentially as a racing driver, in GT3 or some similar series. It would be a dream for me to do some races of that kind, but I'm hopefully still a long way off," Jannik Sinner said.
