Kayden Carter, now going by her old ring name Lacey Lane, isnt slowing down after her WWE exit earlier this year.
The former Womens Tag Team Champion opened up about her future in wrestling during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio and she made it clear that AEW is at the top of her list. Lane admitted she doesnt care if people criticize her for saying it, because at the end of the day, she just wants to work.
She explained that AEWs style is exactly what shes looking for, praising the rosters in-ring intensity.
Lane went on to say that AEW also offers her a sense of connection, given how many of her mentors and peers from Mexico now wrestle there.
Reflecting on her time in WWE alongside Katana Chance, Lane said it often felt like they were fighting an uphill battle.
She also left the door open for TNA Wrestling, pointing out how hard the Knockouts division is working to stand out.
Lacey Lanes last WWE appearance came on the April 11 episode of SmackDown, where she competed in a Womens Tag Team Title number one contender gauntlet match. During her WWE run, she held both the Womens Tag Team Championship and the NXT Womens Tag Team Championship with Katana Chance.
Do you think Lacey Lane would thrive in AEWs womens division, or would she make a bigger impact in TNA? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
