
Tiffany Stratton retained her WWE Womens Championship against Jade Cargill in a 7-minute match at SummerSlam. However, many fans werent happy about the length of the match and now Stratton has defended the bout.
While speaking on The Babyfaces podcast, Tiffany Stratton explained that the feud with Cargill wasnt built as a deep, personal rivalry, so there was no need for a long, drawn-out match. She felt the fast-paced, competitive style they delivered was the right way to go about it.
Stratton added that she was pleased with how the match turned out, stating that not every match has to be 40 minutes to be effective. For her, the short but impactful match with Cargill was exactly what it needed to be.
While some fans hoped for more time in her match with Jade Cargill, Stratton feels the bout provided exactly what was necessary to tell the story and make an impact. Therefore, fans should simply accept that she is happy with the bout and thats all that matters to her in the end.
