Matt Riddle is opening up about a surprising encounter he had at Hulk Hogans funeraland it ended with a harsh message for Shane McMahon. While the private service in Largo, Florida on August 5 drew major names like Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Ric Flair, Kid Rock, and Dennis Rodman, Riddle says his appearance had more to do with family ties than wrestling connections.

Speaking on TMZ Sports Inside The Ring, Riddle admitted he wasnt personally invited. Instead, he was attending as his fiance Mishas plus-one due to her friendship with Nick Hogans now-wife, Tana.

Despite not being part of Hogans inner circle, Riddle said his background earned respect from legends of that era.

Riddle also made it clear that he wasnt looking to rub elbows with WWE execs during the service.

However, he did have one memorable interactionwith Shane McMahon.

Riddle clarified the mood, suggesting it wasnt meant to escalate but also left room for interpretation.

Riddle also touched on how others at the funeral reacted to him being there, saying he was welcomed by many familiar faces.

So while Hulk Hogans funeral was full of wrestling royalty, Riddles presence was more of a support moveand his encounter with Shane McMahon gave it an edge that nobody saw coming.
