Xander Schauffele, the golfer who excelled on the PGA Tour last year, being in the competition for the best PGA Tour last year, is not that great this season. The public had huge expectations, considering his last season.

The 30-year-old golfer, who appeared at the BMW Championship, finished the tournament in joint 28th place with a total score of +3.

The rest of the season leaves a bitter taste, as he failed to crack the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings, meaning he will miss the final playoff event, the Tour Championship, for the first time in his career.

"Yeah, at some point I'm going to sit back and reflect and try and learn something from it. Yeah, it was mentally a long season for me even though it was short. So physically I feel a lot better, which is a plus. No sort of recurring injury, which is a plus.

About the only positives I can think of so far.."- Schauffele said.

How will he spend the next period?

It is to be expected that you will be tired after a busy season, but when you have bad results during the year, it is even more exhausting not only physically but also mentally.
