Karrion Kross may be a free agent now, but fans clearly havent moved onand neither has he.
During the August 15 episode of WWE SmackDown at Bostons TD Garden, the show opened with Sami Zayn cutting a promo on Solo Sikoa. While Zayn tried to keep the focus on The Bloodline, the crowd had other ideas. A loud wave of We Want Kross chants rang out, showing support for the former NXT Champion who was quietly let go after his WWE contract expired.
In a direct response to the fan support, Kross took to Twitter with a short but powerful post. He wrote, I hear you. and followed that with emojis: a fist, an hourglass, and praying handsimagery long associated with his character.
Zayn was Kross last opponent in WWE before his departure, which made the timing of the chants during that segment even more significant. And this wasnt the only time Kross name came up this weekhe was also spotted on a fan sign during AEW Collision, further fueling speculation about where he might show up next.
Kross hasnt officially signed anywhere, but this kind of response might just push a returnor a new debutcloser to reality.
