Roger Federer leads the field with 56 consecutive hard-court victories in 2005 and 2006. Novak Djokovic collected 35 between 2010 and 2011. Rafael Nadal enjoyed his best run in 2012 and 2013 before Dokovic halted his run at 30.
Finally, Andy Murray reached 28 straight hard-court wins throughout 2016, ending it at the beginning of 2017 in Doha. If Jannik defends the Cincinnati Masters title, he will come a win away from matching Andy Murray.

Jannik toppled Daniel Elahi Galan 6-1, 6-1 in the second round in 59 minutes. He faced Gabriel Diallo in the third round and earned a 6-2, 7-6 triumph. The Italian saved a set point in the tie break and moved over the top.
