Sepp Straka, a 32-year-old Austrian golfer, withdrew from the BMW Championship due to personal family reasons, and will not participate in the second FedExCup playoff tournament.
Although the fans had strong expectations when it came to Straka, the famous golfer did not want to explain in detail what it was all about.
Straka's manager, Butler Melnyk, stressed in a statement that Straka will not perform this week, asking for privacy.

Straka has had a great season, with two victories; at The American Express in January and the Truist Championship in May; along with many strong finishes in other tournaments. This great golfer now has the chance to appear at the TOUR Championship for the fourth time.
Although the competition will be fierce, with many quality players, the Austrian golfer is optimistic that he can improve on his best finish; seventh place at the 2022 TOUR Championship.
Straka is currently 11th in the OWGR, but his ambitions are even higher; he aims to reach the top of the rankings and, who knows, perhaps one day become the world No. 1.
There is no doubt that he has the potential to be even more brilliant in the future.
