Since Hulk Hogan passed away a few weeks ago, attention has turned not just to Hogan's life and controversial actions, but to those close, or formerly, close to him, like his daughter Brooke Hogan and Bubba the Love Sponge. While the latter got attention for being proven right with his reporting that Hogan's health had been failing in the month leading into his death, Brooke surprised many when she revealed she hadn't spoken with her father in the last several years, despite still caring for him deeply.
On Tuesday, Brooke and Bubba engaged in an unexpected conversation when she called into the "Bubba the Love Sponge Show." Her appearance led to a discussion regarding the infamous sex tape of Hogan and Bubba's ex-wife, Heather, which led to the very public fall out between Hogan and Bubba. Brooke revealed that not only was Bubba innocent regarding the tape being leaked, but that her father knew he was innocent as well.
"I want to tell you that I was down at my dad's gym ... with him back up when they set up the sting operation at the Sand Pearl," Hogan said. "And him and David Houston got wired up, because somebody was going to try to extort them for the tape. And my dad told me that he knew it wasn't you that leaked the tape.
"And I've been watching you take the heat for it, and I've been hearing you say 'Sorry, sorry, sorry.' And I know that you have a guilty conscience. But my dad told me the real story, that it was your home files, and you got divorced, that you ran off your security footage thing when Heather had to get all of her stuff out of the house. And he said that somebody ... one of your employees got it, and that they took it from you. He knew it wasn't you."
