WWE brought the fallout after SummerSlam 2025 with August 4s RAW. The show also went down at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and that venue has seen a lot of great WWE events over the years.
Seth Rollins shocked the world at SummerSlam as he ended CM Punks World Title reign within 5 minutes. The Visionary faked his injury and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase the close out Saturday nights event.
This week on RAW, Seth Rollins and his Vision had a chance to kick off his title reign. He kicked off the show this week and fans were ready to sing his song. Paul Heyman cut a promo where he threw Roman Reigns under the bus for not being champion in over a year-and-a-half, and he made it clear that CM Punk isnt the champion, either.
When Seth Rollins took the microphone, he placed shame on every fan who turned their back on him after he won the main event of WrestleMania 41. He also cast shame on the locker room who tried to stop him. He then reminded everyone that he always has a Plan B.
Rollins revealed that he pulled off his faked injury plan by only letting Becky Lynch and Paul Heyman know. Then Rollins made it clear that this is the Vision. Suddenly, LA Knight made his way out to face off with the new champion.
LA Knight said that Seth Rollins didnt fake his injury to get the title, but to get out of his match with LA Knight at Saturday Nights Main Event. Knight won that match, and thats where things got interesting for him. He promised to be the next one to beat Rollins, since he was the last one to beat him. Now Knight has the ammunition to really hurt Rollins, because he will take that title off him.
Knight wanted the match in Brooklyn and immediately. Rollins balked at that idea of fighting Knight in Brooklyn for the title. Then he walked off, leaving Knight in the ring. At that point, Adam Pearce came out and the RAW General Manager came out to book the match tonight anyway. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker will also be banned from ringside for the match.
