Matt and Jeff Hardy were in attendance for SummerSlam alongside The Dudleys, as they saw the TLC match. After the conclusion of the show, the Hardys revealed that their appearance came together at the last minute.
While speaking on the SummerSlam Recap show, Jeff Hardy revealed that he and Matt Hardy originally planned to watch the TLC match later because they had an appearance earlier in the day and were scheduled to fly out that night. However, they ended up arriving just before the show started and got to watch it live from the front row.
Matt Hardy added that it all came together very quickly, with the invite to attend the show coming that same day, saying, Yeah, this was a last-minute sort of, Hey guys, if youre still in town, come for the show. Yes, it happened today.
In the meantime, The Dudleys and The Hardys are set to collide one last time at TNAs Bound for Glory, so well have to see how TNA will book their feud in the coming weeks as we slowly approach the event. Nonetheless, fans were just glad to see both teams at SummerSlam, even if it was for the sake of nostalgia.
