Bad Bunny is known for his bravado, and he claims to be the greatest celebrity wrestler of all time.
WWE has featured many celebrities in matches over the years. Names like Mr. T, Lawrence Taylor, Travis Scott, Seth Green, Johnny Knoxville, Snooki, and even Pee-Wee Herman have all stepped into the ring for a segment and even a match. Bad Bunny has stood out thanks to his dedication to training, even putting his music career on the side to learn the ropes.
Bad Bunny is a former WWE 24/7 Champion and has a winning record at WrestleMania. In a recent digital exclusive for Netflix, Bad Bunny discussed his early days with WWE, including his debut at the 2021 Royal Rumble. Obviously, Netflix and WWE have a pretty good partnership going right now.
During his interview, the ultra-famous Latino rapper explained that he took the role on short notice and only began full-time training afterward. He also described a mistake during his first jump off the ropes.
Triple H has spoken publicly about Bad Bunnys training and involvement with WWE. Although Bad Bunny was not included in WWE 2K25, he is still very much a part of the WWE Family.
In other news, Bad Bunny did star in Happy Gilmore 2 as Adam Sandlers caddy in the film. MJF, who works for AEW, was also in the film as Happy Gilmores oldest son, and Becky Lynch also had a role as a villain in the last part of the film. Obviously, the pro wrestling influences on pop culture is not slowing down at all.
