Karrion Kross is set for a big match at SummerSlam this week, but it seems he was supposed to compete at Bloodsport XIV as well but WWE rejected it.

While speaking on The Ringer, Karrion Kross revealed that he was requested to compete Bloodsport XIV this week, but WWE turned it down. Kross believes decision was likely due to concerns about him possibly getting injured before SummerSlam, especially with the idea of working two matches on two successive days.

Karrion Kross then admitted he was a bit disappointed, as he would have enjoyed the chance to wrestle at two major events back-to-back just for the unique experience.

The Harbinger of Doom is set to face off against Sami Zayn at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event this week. Regardless, its certainly disappointing that Kross didnt compete at Bloodsport since he has history with the promotion, but nothing can be done now.
