During a recent episode of the Refin It Up podcast, the former WWE veteran got honest about his long-term vision in the business. At 46 years old, and with 25 years of experience under his belt, Carlito has no plans to leave wrestling completely. In fact, hes eyeing roles that keep him on camera and close to the action. When asked about whats next after his in-ring career, Carlito revealed:
He also pointed out a missed opportunity he still doesnt understandwhy WWE never tapped him as a mouthpiece for Spanish-speaking talent.
Carlito believes that promo skills are crucial in wrestlingand he thinks his ability to talk and connect couldve helped younger talent break through.
Whether its behind a desk or at ringside hyping up the next generation, Carlito clearly sees value in staying close to the WWE product. And based on his track record, he might just be right.
