Drew McIntyre might be watching SummerSlam from across the oceanbecause he cant find his passport.
The former WWE Champion is currently stranded in the UK after attending a friends wedding, and he may not make it back to the U.S. in time for his scheduled match this weekend. McIntyre was set to team with Logan Paul in a tag bout against Randy Orton and country star Jelly Roll, but a real-life travel emergency has thrown WWEs plans into chaos.
The passport issue is legitimate and not part of any storyline twist. WWE is scrambling behind the scenes to prepare backup options in case McIntyre cant make it to Fridays SmackDown. The Miz has already offered himself as a backup partner for Logan Paul, though no official change has been announced.
WWE is expected to address McIntyres status during Fridays SmackDown, either confirming his return or introducing an alternate plan. One thing is clear: McIntyres misplaced passport could change the entire complexion of SummerSlam.
