WWE is officially returning to Japan this October with two nights of non-televised SuperShow action, set for Tokyos iconic Rygoku Kokugikan arena. This marks the companys only scheduled stop in Japan for 2025 and brings back some major names, including one star who once questioned if hed ever wrestle in the country again.

WWE SuperShow Japan will take place on October 17 and 18, delivering stacked cards featuring World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, World Tag Team Champions Finn Blor & JD McDonagh, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, IYO SKY, AJ Styles, and The New Dayamong others. WWE issued the official announcement confirming the return:

The company also confirmed that ticket sales, along with Superstar Meet & Greet packages, will go live on August 30 at 10am local time via the Lawson Ticket website. WWE fans across Japan can continue to catch weekly programming including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT on ABEMA platforms, with all Premium Live Events streaming live.

Of particular note is AJ Styles involvement, as the veteran previously suggested that his August 2024 tour of Japan might be his last time wrestling there. His inclusion for the 2025 SuperShow dates immediately caught fan attention.

This announcement gives Japanese fans something to look forward to, especially with a stacked roster that includes international favorites and homegrown star IYO SKY, whose presence in Tokyo is sure to add something special to the event.
