Jim Ross might be one of wrestlings most iconic voices, but even Good Ol JR isnt keeping up with WWE Monday Night RAW since its move to Netflix earlier this year.
On the latest episode of Grilling JR, Ross revealed that he hasnt seen a single episode since WWEs flagship show ditched cable for streaming. And its not out of protestits simply because he never signed up.
Ross says his viewing habits are rooted in ease of access, noting that he still watches SmackDown because it airs on USA Network, which he already has. Netflix, on the other hand, requires extra effortand thats where the problem lies.
WWEs blockbuster deal with Netflix kicked off in January 2025, marking a major shift in how the company delivers its weekly content. While the streaming move could bring in a younger audience, JRs comments point to a clear issue: longtime fans might not be tagging along.
Do you think WWE made the right call moving RAW to Netflix? Or is the old-school fanbase getting left behind? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
