Drew McIntyre has now revealed that he is finally considering starting a family with his wife.
While speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Drew McIntyre talked about having kids and said its something he and his partner have discussed. With WWEs schedule now being easier to manage, hes starting to feel like it might finally be the right time.
McIntyre shared that hes spent most of his career constantly traveling and fully focused on wrestling. To succeed he had to give up certain things, like spending time with his family, which has always meant a lot to him. In the past, he was on the road three or four days a week, and it was even harder when he first started.
Drew McIntyre remembered having a talk with Nick Khan during a hard time in his life after his family went through some tragedies. He asked for more time off and was told the schedule would slow down. That turned out to be true. WWEs current schedule now allows wrestlers more time to rest and be with their families.
Because of that, the Scottish Warrior feels like he could now be a hands-on dad. He doesnt want to be away from his future child, only seeing them on FaceTime. He wants to be there in person for the special moments. People have also told him its better to have kids when youre younger so you can enjoy more time with them as they grow up.
Even though he knows hell be an older dad, McIntyre said he chose to focus on his career first. He knows how committed he gets to his goals and doesnt regret the choices hes made.
We will have to wait and see when The Scottish Warrior will take time off to start a family, as its clear he is more than ready to become a father and fans believe he will be an amazing dad.
