The July 21 episode of WWE RAW went down in Houston, Texas Toyota Center. This was a big night for the red brand and it was also notable for Dominik Mysterio.
Dirty Dominik Mysterio is also the IC Champion, but his challenger hasnt let him be at all. AJ Styles wants Dominiks title, and hes been waiting for Mysterio to get medically cleared.
A match at Night of Champions was postponed because of Dirty Doms medical status. Naturally, AJ Styles couldnt wait to get that match against Dominik, and hes made no secret of that. In fact, Styles appeared a couple of times to haunt Dom this week on RAW, as he reminded him that his days as champion as numbered.
Finally, AJ Styles and Adam Pearce were able to get Dominik Mysterio to get checked out by the trainer. In the end, Dom attacked AJ Styles as he proclaimed that he will see him at SummerSlam. Now, their match is on for hte IC Title.
SummerSlam is set to go down at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3. This will be a historic two-night event, which is a first-ever for the biggest party of the summer.
