SummerSlam WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match Set During 7/21 RAW

One highlight was the WWE Womens Tag Team Championship match. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez defended their titles against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

This match went down during the shows second hour. There were a lot of close calls and quick tags in and out. Needless to say, fans were invested in the match as everyone had a chance to show off.

Lyra and Roxanne ended up battling on the top rope. In the end, Perez took a sit-down powerbomb off the top rope and then Bayley tagged in for a top rope elbow drop and a two-count.

Roxanne Perez stole the show with one big highlight spot after another. During the match, Corey Graves chair even broke at ringside. We didnt get a shot of Coreys broken chair, but it certainly took Michael Coles attention.

Dominik Mysterio got involved as he provided a distraction at ringside. Then Raquel Rodriguez accidentally nailed a big boot on Dom at ringside. Lyra took Raquel out with a diving slide through the ropes. At that point, medical personal went to check on Dom, and suddenly, AJ Styles was spotted next to him. Styles chased Dom through the ring, and then Becky Lynch pulled Lyra off the apron and threw her into the ring steps.

After some near falls, Raquel Rodriguez nailed her finisher to win the match and retain the Womens Tag Team Titles. That cemented the Judgment Days spot in the match at SummerSlam. Now, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez will defend against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.

SummerSlam is set to go down at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3. This will be a historic two-night event, which is a first-ever for the biggest party of the summer.

The WWE Womens Tag Team Title picture is certainly interesting. We will have to see who steps up next to take the spotlight in the division.
