The July 21 episode of WWE RAW went down in Houston, Texas Toyota Center. This was a big night for the red brand, and we saw a lot of action. The tag team division was no different.
New Day vs. Creed Brothers vs. LWO went down this week, and they had a lot on the line. The winning team would get the new #1 contender spot for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Of course, Judgment Day are still covered in gold.
This match closed out the shows first hour. Each team fought hard to gain an advantage, and it stretched through a commercial break. In the end, the LWO got the win, and this was quite an upset. El Grande Americano was also involved in the finish as he continues his storyline post Chad Gables injury.
After the match was over, New Day wasnt happy at all. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods may have thrown a fit, but the LWO celebrated in a big way.
We will have to see what happens next. Only time will tell what Triple H and company have planned as we hit the homestretch toward SummerSlam.
