Thekla is officially All Eliteand shes got the graphic to prove it. But this wasnt your average signing. AEW made her work for it, thanks to the controversial way she exited STARDOM earlier this year.

Tony Khan confirmed on July 19 that Theklas probation period has ended and her AEW contract is now validated. The AEW President explained why it took this long, pointing the finger directly at her actions in Japan.

The drama started when Thekla was fired from STARDOM following her attack on company president Taro Okada at the All-Star Grand Queendom event in April. After losing to Sayaka Kurara and refusing to honor a post-match agreement to join Kouzen, she took things to the next level and assaulted Okada in front of the live crowd.

Despite the heat, Thekla didnt slow down once she got to AEW. Since her debut on the May 28 episode of Dynamitewhere she attacked Jamie Haytershes wrestled in eight matches, including the Womens Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In.

Most recently, she scored a huge win on AEW Dynamite, defeating Kris Statlander, Queen Aminata, and Willow Nightingale in a four-way match to snag a $100,000 prize. She also formed a new alliance with Skye Blue and Julia Hart, signaling that her chaos is far from over.

Now that her deal is locked in, Theklas future in AEW looks violent, volatile, and very real.
