Rhea Ripley isnt completely sold on WWEs new behind-the-scenes reality show, Unreal. While CM Punk made it clear hes uncomfortable with the show exposing too much of wrestlings inner workings, Rhea is taking a more measured approachbut shes still raising eyebrows with her honest take.
Speaking during the Progressive podcast, Ripley was asked if she shared Punks concerns about Unreal revealing things traditionally kept behind closed doors. While she supported WWEs growth and evolution, she didnt shy away from admitting her own doubts.
Ripley also revealed that having camera crews constantly around the locker room and backstage threw her off, especially when trying to handle private conversations or unscripted emotions.
But she also acknowledged that times have changed. With social media and constant fan interaction, kayfabe isnt what it used to beand Ripley knows fans already see talent traveling together or hanging out outside the ring.
While CM Punk remains deeply uneasy about lifting the curtain on wrestlings secrets, Ripley seems cautiously open to the ideathough even she has limits on how much she believes should be shared.
WWE Unreal premieres July 29, and with stars like Punk and Ripley reacting this way, its clear not every Superstar is thrilled to have their private moments on full display.
