TNA is currently eyeing a $10 million media deal to go live every week. While speculation about the deal continues, the potential networks which TNA could call home have been revealed.
During a Q&A session, a fan asked Mike Johnson of PWInsider which network TNA Wrestling might land on as part of their new media deal. Johnson revealed that hes aware of one platform that had been in talks with TNA not long ago, and also noted that WWE sources have been hearing rumors of another potential destination.
Johnson confirmed that before WWE secured its deal with Tubi, TNA had actually been in discussions with FOX about airing Impact weekly and live on Tubi. The concept would have included building toward bigger live specials, potentially airing on FS1.
While its unclear how far those talks progressed, Johnson said the discussions were serious enough that TNA began budgeting what it would cost to produce the shows.
On top of that, Johnson said that at least two WWE sources he spoke with this month believed A&E might be a potential home for TNA. Although that discussion has quieted recently, he added that doesnt necessarily mean those talks are dead or that there arent other platforms in play for TNAs future.
Carlos Silva also recently stated that TNA could get a potential deal within the next 90 days. Whether the deal ends up being with Tubi, FS1, A&E, or another network, fans could soon be watching the start of a brand-new era for TNA Wrestling.
