While speaking on Comicbook Nation, CM Punk was asked about Paul Heyman betraying him, especially considering their long friendship and how personal the situation felt. Reflecting on it, Punk admitted it wasnt the first time Heyman had turned on him, joking that he shouldve learned his lesson by now but tends to have a short memory.
The Second City Saint went on to say that everything hes doing now in wrestling feels like a bonus, something extra and fulfilling. Its a dream come true for him, and even though he doesnt know when his run will end, hes determined to make the most of it.
Working with some of the best minds, speakers, and wrestlers in the industry has been a rejuvenating experience. He mentioned names like Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins, saying they bring out the best in him and he believes he does the same for them. In the end, hes truly enjoying everything hes doing right now in wrestling.
CM Punks still feuding with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed for the time being. While he has a huge title match against GUNTHER at SummerSlam, well have to see how WWE will continue to book Punks feud with Heyman in the coming weeks. After all, there will definitely be a lot of twists and turns along the way.
