
WWE just turned up the heat for this weeks Friday Night SmackDownand the July 18 show is now looking stacked from top to bottom.
In a new update, the company confirmed that a huge Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match will determine the No. 1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Fraxiom, the Motor City Machine Guns, Andrade & Rey Fenix, and #DIY will all collide in a match with massive SummerSlam implications.
Thats not allJacob Fatu is officially returning to SmackDown after his chaotic recent run-in with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. Fans have been waiting to see whats next for the Samoan powerhouse, and Fridays episode could set the stage for another explosive chapter.
Also announced is a major womens singles bout, as Charlotte Flair will face Raquel Rodriguez in a clash of powerhouses that could shake up the title picture heading into SummerSlam.
This all comes in addition to the previously confirmed showdown between Stephanie Vaquer and Alba Fyre, a match that could send a strong message in the womens division following Evolution 2.
And of course, SmackDown will feature the first face-to-face contract signing between John Cena and Cody Rhodes ahead of their Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. Tensions are high, and with both men in the building, things could erupt at any moment.
WWE SmackDown airs live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, at 8 PM ET on the USA Network, with global streaming available on Netflix.
