The masked enigma known as El Grande Americano is officially heading to Lucha Libre AAA.

The luchador will make his debut in AAA on July 25 during a TV taping for the Alianzas AAA tour in Mexico City.

AAA dropped the announcement via social media, confirming the show will be held at the Juan de la Barrera Olympic Gymnasium with tickets on sale now. The masked star is already causing a stir, and fans are wondering whos really under the hood. The company kept it simple in their announcement:

The El Grande Americano character first appeared on WWE programming earlier this year and has since built a reputation for bending the rules. His most recent match went down on the July 7 episode of WWE Raw, where he defeated Dragon Lee by smashing him with a headbutt using a steel plate hidden inside his mask.

Rumors have been swirling around the identity of the man behind the mask. Chad Gable was the initial favorite, especially after he clashed with AAA Mega Champion Hijo del Vikingo at AAA x WWE Worlds Collide in June. But with Gable currently sidelined due to injury, speculation has shifted toward Ludwig Kaiserwhos been suspiciously absent.

As of now, AAA has not revealed who El Grande Americano will face in his debut, but all eyes will be on this mystery figure as WWE and AAA continue to deepen their alliance following WWEs purchase of the Mexican promotion during WrestleMania weekend.

Is this just the beginning of Americanos takeover in AAA, or will someone finally rip the mask off and reveal the truth?

Who do you think is under the El Grande Americano maskand should AAA or WWE be the ones to finally unmask him? Drop your wildest theories and predictions in the comments.
