Fans hoping to see Keith Lee make a surprise return at AEW All In: Texas are in for a letdown. Just hours before the event kicks off at Globe Life Field in Arlington, the former AEW standout shut down rumors of a comeback in his home state.
A fan on Twitter/X posted that their son was excited to see Keith Lee at the event. Lee replied directly, offering a gracious but definitive update on his status:
Lee hasnt wrestled since defeating Brian Cage at AEW Collision: Holiday Bash in December 2023. He was pulled from Worlds End later that month after revealing he had been battling a lingering injury since 2022. Despite being under contract with AEW, he has not been medically cleared to return and has remained off television, except for a brief backstage sighting at a Texas taping earlier this year.
While fans have speculated that All In: Texas would be a natural place for the Texas native to reemerge, Lee is making it clear that his return isnt up to him. In a previous tweet to another supporter, he wrote:
And in another reply, Lee emphasized hes staying patient:
For now, the Limitless One remains sidelined, but fans can take comfort in knowing that Lee hasnt ruled out a return entirelyjust not tonight.
Do you think AEW is missing out by keeping Keith Lee on the sidelines? Or is it better to wait until hes 100% ready? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
