Tattoos might seem like a form of personal expressionbut when youre working under WWEs watch, even your ink can land you in hot water. Former WWE NXT star Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade, says she caught heat from the company after getting a tattoo across her chest without asking permission. And now? She cant stand it.
On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Black opened up about the tattoo that reads Starve the ego, Feed the soula decision she admits was impulsive and emotional at the time.
Elayna didnt go into specifics about what kind of trouble WWE gave her, but the message was clear: the tattoo wasnt approved and didnt go over well. Now that shes out of WWE, she admits shes not a fan of it herself.
While she regrets the chest ink, shes thankful she didnt follow through with an even more questionable idea she once had: getting the WWE logo tattooed behind her ear. Instead, she opted for a wrestling ringstill meaningful, but without tying her permanently to one company.
Elayna Black may have moved on from her WWE persona, but this tattoo serves as a permanent reminder of a time in her life shes now distancing herself from.
